Physical

Appearance: Variga certainly dose not look his age, but more like that of his brother, Savern's age. He is a huge gray dragon, Seventy feet long, and a wing-span of Eighty-one. He has dark-red wings and belly scales, the same color also lines his flanks and back, blurred with his normal gray scales. Being a wyvern, Variga dose not have front legs, but claws on his wings. Variga has six horns on his head along with three rows of small spines along his back, all colored black and a large blade which was implanted into his tail. His eyes are deep maroon with slitted pupils. He has several scars, one across his right eye, another spans the length of his left flank, and nine on each of his wings.

Personal

Personality: Variga is anti-social, cruel, and cold, he only cares about himself, and has a bad habit of ignoring most people outside of a battle. Though he may seem reckless at times, he is a great tactician, never losing any fight that comes his way. He has formed a strong sense of brotherhood, making him a very good commander, he treats his troops well. Although he doesn't show it much he follows the ancient way of the warrior.

History: Like Savern, he was raised under the same warrior code, but his mind was clouded by darkness from day one, at the age of twelve, he ran away with several of other wyverns and formed a mercenary group, they trained for ten years before they became active. Their first job was to assassinate the guardians of the time, while Malefor attacked the city, they struck the tower at night, an hour before the battle. It took them less than ten minutes to accomplish their goal, Variga personally finished them off.
The battle began fifty minutes later and lasted six days, but in the end, the dragons had lost.
Variga's gang grew rapidly after and by the time Malefor had finally been defeated by Spyro, he had several thousands of wyverns who joined him seeking a better place in his brotherhood, as he called it. Now they plot a full scale war with dragon-kind, "To free the other wyverns, and to stop the dragons' oppression." was his propaganda, but he really wanted to destroy the dragons so that his "empire" would control all.
Soon after Savern's reappearance, the Dark Wave struck, followed by a wave of shadowseekers his gang went from ten thousand to a few hundred on this first day, further falling down to seventy-six over the next eight years. The went into hiding until the day when he encountered Savern, where he, and another sixty of his gang gave their lives trying to save him...or so it was thought. The last twelve managed to save him from death, but were unable to stop him from turning. Those lucky few who made it fell back to a nearby dragon camp, where they spent their time learning to fight the shadowseekers. Variga and his friends left after four years and once again made themselves known by hunting shadowseekers like animals, their kills went to Variga so he could feed without harming mortal dragons. To the day they continue this "sport" and encourage others to join in.
