Gods and goddesses

For rituals, dragons can call on or summon a goddess or god. It isn't necessary to call on a god or goddess for a ritual. (I just thought it would add something interesting to the role-play.) A made a list of the best known goddesses and gods. The list will probably not be in alphabetic order.

Goddesses

Aphrodite
Goddess of love, beauty, sexuality and fertility.

Astarte
Goddess of fertility.

Artemis
Goddess of hunting, goddess of the moon, goddess of virginity.

Athena
Goddess of martial art and peace. Goddess of the skies and heaven.

Aurora
Goddess of dawn and daylight.

Demeter
Goddess of farming and tillage. Goddess of home and fruits, order and law.

Diana
Goddess of hunting and the moon.

Gaia
Goddess of Earth and the Mother-goddess.

Isis
Mother-goddess, goddess of magic, goddess of passion and love.

Nyx
Goddess of night, sleep and death.

Venus
Goddess of love and vegetation.


Gods

Dionysus
God of passion, love and wine.

Eros
God of love and passion, fertility and reproduction of nature.

Pan
God of herding, animals, cattle and animal instinct.

Hades
God of death and rules of the underworld.

Jupiter
Upper god, god of the sky and heaven and thunder.

Loki
A dark god, causing chaos. A shape-shifting god.

Osiris
God of the underworld. Lover and brother of Isis.


There are many other gods and goddesses, so don't feel obligated to only use this selection in your role-play threads!
