RANKOR The Well of Souls, or at least what's left of it, is the home to many small creatures. Well, it is also the home of a male black dragon, whose build shows strength and the age of a juvenile. Truth be told, those two things has fooled many dragons into believing he is young, and slow; when in reality, he is fast, and old. The Male dragon, is over a hundred years old, having lived during the time of the great legend that is Spyro. Although, not many dragons today believe that Spyro actually existed, no matter how many times he says it's true.
Anyway, the black dragon is currently walking along the side of a lake; the one thing Rankor remembers, that seems to have been left untouched by time. The only change, is the river, that feeds into the lake; The river is no longer flowing into the lake, but switched directions, as the mountains are no longer there. The lake, to Rankor's surprise, is actually fed by an underground spring; which explains why the water had a great taste to it.
It's night out, and the moon is full tonight, reflecting beautifully off the lake. Rankor sat down finally, and looked out over the lake, thinking of the one dragon he wants to meet again. The one dragon he will never forget, and he still remembers her voice; Eclipse. ”The eyes are the moon, its beauty so bright; the scar makes the lake, enhancing the light. Midnight blue scales, the starry night sky. Scenery so beautiful, that doesn’t last long; found on a dragon whose beauty lasts both day and night,” he spoke softly to himself, tears forming in his eyes. "How I would love to hear your voice again Eclipse. Celestia's too. I thought we would always be together, and that nothing would seperate us. How naive I was to think that."
As if things couldn't get any worse, Rankor looked up at the moon, as if waiting for something to happen. The thing he is waiting for is the one thing that can make him depressed throughout the entire day. Living as long as he has, Rankor picked up a pattern on the Lunar Eclipse, and tonight was it. "I will never forget you Eclipse, and Celestia. Although you are not here with me, I can still hear you. I just hope, where ever your soul is now, you both are together and happy, waiting for me, for when my time comes." Rankor remained seated, looking up at the moon. He knows the eclipse is tonight, but when it starts, has been the one thing Rankor couldn't figure out because there was no set pattern.

Celestia Celestia awoke, her vision was blurred to the point where all she could see was blots of colors and her whole body ached. Questions flooder her mind, and for the first time she could remember, she felt exposed, scared and lonely. She lie there for what felt like an hour, trying to clear her mind so that she could get her bearings, when she finally did she started to feel the area around her, she felt rocky terrain, small patches of grass, and her tail brushed a small tree. She looked up too see a wide blue sky, and was forced to close them once she looked straight up. Okay it is around noon based on the sun's position and I am somewhere uphill. Now for the big question, should I stay here and wait for help. But I can't smell any dragons nearby and who knows how long it will take for someone to find me. It was then she decided to try and find her way down to level ground and find somebody. Celestia wander most of the day away, using a telekinetic field and sensing for disturbances to avoid face planting a tree. By then she could make out the outlines, and colors were no longer blurred as they were before. It wasn't until night that she found the black shape of a dragon and heard her father's voice come from its direction, "I will never forget you Eclipse, and Celestia. Although you are not here with me, I can still hear you. I just hope, where ever your soul is now, you both are together and happy, waiting for me, for when my time comes." Without much thought she ran at him, relived to hear his voice, yelling, "I'm here, I'm here!" Her lack of attention led to her tripping on a rock, then slide right to his side, "Ooowwch!"

Rankor just sat there on the shore of the lake, looking up at the sky; not expecting anything to happen, other than the usual on the night of the lunar eclipse. That changed, as he heard a voice that said "I'm here, I'm here!" Turning his head, Rankor looked in the direction of the voice, to see a young dragon running towards. It wasn't long until the young dragon slipped on a rock, and slid towards him.
"I bet that did hurt," Rankor said, looking down on the dragon. Even though he can't see many details, the voice and build of the young dragon, told him that it's a female. "You need to pay more attention, especially at night when you can hardly see anything." Rankor was suddenly drawn to the thought, of why a dragon would say "I'm here, I'm here," when he wasn't expecting anyone to show up. "Are you okay?" Rankor asked, as he helped the young try to get back up to her feet.
